Here is the wedding venue – Schuster’s Family Farm! With it comes a date – September 4, 2010, Labor Day weekend. The farm is a great place with lots of fun things: corn maze, petting zoo, bonfire, hayride, fort…we’re planning on having everything except the corn maze at the wedding. A party!
There are two ceremony options we really like: in front of the round barn (with the doors closed) (above) and in front of this adorable white barn (below). If we do the white barn, the sign will probably be taken down. The reception will be held inside the round barn, and so will the ceremony in case of rain. The difficulty in being in front of the round barn is the part where it’s slanted upwards towards us – all the guests will be tilted backwards slightly. Just different options.
More pictures are in the gallery below, and at Picasa, here.

This looks so cute. I love the inspiration board you did in the next post as well!
Yay! I am so glad. We are going to have Tim’s best man (Doug) play guitar for the ceremony. Then there will be hay rides, petting farm animals, a fort with a corncob cannon (Tim loves this part), dinner, board games, music in the round barn, and a bonfire with s’mores…I am excited!
s’mores are delicious! i like the idea of it being casual with board games and such, in general the whole thing. i bet your excited to get everything rolling with planning
oh and mom thinks you guys should really do the whole American Gothic as one of your pictures, but it needs some sort of spin if you do or else it with look like your forced to be together instead of happily together.
Tim’s response to your last line: “Well…”
Yes, I hit him for that remark.
sounds fun. you have done some work and planning and discussing, way to go. i can’t wait to hear all the details……
We are just planning to take advantage of the farm…it’s so cool, we can’t not!
how is the guest list coming? …….
Just fine?
This venue is so cool…seriously, so PERFECT for fall wedding!!
